The Fashionista Wedding:
Queen of the Red Carpet, Diane has been growing on me as a favourite in the fash pack. Always classic but way ahead of the game, she rarely puts a ballet slipper wrong when dressing for Celebrity do’s.
Her dressed down look is also pretty envible (not many who can pull off denim shorts on a bike). Not to mention the accessory that is Joshua Jackson. Lucky girl.

The Challenge: An entire outfit (including shoes for £100). C’est impossible I hear you cry! All available on the high street now – wear it by the weekend!
Dress – Candy Stripe by French Connection £75
Flats – AGOLD leather pumps by Faith reduced to £22
Cream Tights – Primark £1.50
OK, I know I blew most of the budget on the dress here but it’s totally worth it as you can easily adapt it for a party or the office as well this day time look.
If you have any spare cash for accessories then team with a cute cross body purse and an oversized bib necklace. Barber shop meets Alice in Wonderland!
I’m currently on the hunt for a suitable dress for my sister’s wedding party in April. Shouldn’t be too difficult given the runways were awash with whites, nudes, pastels – or a pop of coral at Stella McCartney – all in deluxe knots, ruffles and drapes.
My budget will push me to make my purchase from the high street, but I can’t decide on my favourite from these for inspiration. I wonder what my sis would have to say if I turned up in something like the Viktor & Rolf illusion?
Christopher Kane’s SS 10 Collection introduced us to the modern gingham. I love the candied baby blues and pastel pinks combined with the more wearable navy and beiges.
I am starting to bring in small amounts of gingham into my accessories now with some ribbon casually tied into a low pony. It should look like you’ve been rolling around in a the hay….maybe at a Chanel hoedown.
Ribbon £3.50 for 3 metres from a selection at John Lewis.
